Hey there! I hope I caught your attention!

Toddler Approved added to anything, will make me drop laundry and sit down and listen watch or read anything.

This toddler approved home made mac’n cheese is just that!

As a mother of a couple of toddlers/pre-k anything that has toddler approved on it, is a WIN! Let's face it though, I have 4 other children and if all of them love this.... I've won the best mom medal of the year. 💕😂

You know what I mean…. If your toddler doesn’t like it, you might as well have a big fat LOSER sign on your forehead. My kids love mac’n cheese, but I don’t like to buy it from the store.

I'm going to keep this post short like most of mine , because let's face it, either you or I have or will have one or two children hanging on us, asking for us or asking for something to eat.

What you'll need for this Toddler approved homemade mac'n cheese 'll need from the store.

By the way, Aldi is our favorite store and the prices usually, can't be beat.

(If you haven't seen my Aldi board yet, check it out and one of my most viewed posts about my Aldi board….you're gonna love it!)

Alright…

Ingredients needed.

3 cups of elbow macaroni cook per package instructions.

Pinch of himalayan sea salt in water while boiling

10 oz of aldi cheese

2 oz of butter ½ stick of butter

1 cup of Almond milk

Directions:
Heat stove and add milk, cheese, and butter together in pot. Heat till everything is melted. Make sure it doesn’t burn.

Once everything is melted, add the noodles and mix. Here's what it should look like.

I added 1 teaspoon of Himalayan salt at the end along with some black pepper.  If you like extra saltiness you can always add more; however, it turned out perfectly.

We added hot dogs to it and was delicious. Perfect toddler approved meal, and complete family meal if you ask me :D

Home made mac’n cheese is great because you have control of what is in your food!!
Hope you enjoy this!

If you want to change some things here are my suggestions:

** If you like extra cheesiness you can add about 4 oz more of the cheese and ½ cup more of almond milk.
We're lactose intolerant so the less cheese for us the better. Which is why I substitute almond milk for regular milk.

*** Want to make your Mac’n Cheese a super food? Add nutritional yeast to it!! This is the exact NUTRITIONAL YEAST we buy

I add it to pretty much everything. It adds a rich taste to it plus its a Super food and does so much good for your body.
